Grinding noise when turning wheel while car is moving. My 2013 Chrysler 300 with about 30,000 miles had the same problem. The dealer had the car for a week trouble shooting it before they replaced the Rack and Pinion Assembly under warranty. It fixed the problem.

Jun 05, 2019 · Most likely y the noise is a wheel bearing, it may sound different because it's in the rear, there really is no common sound for a wheel bearing because there are many different styles. I doubt it's a tire noise unless you can actually see damage to the tire but anything is possible.
Anyone know what a grinding noise from the rear right hand wheel could be? Its linked to the wheel as its a recurring noise with a cyclical grinding noise. Only 49k miles on the clock so im hoping its something minor. only can notice it when driving slow with window open.
